Landlords who live outside the UK fall under HMRC’s Non-resident Landlord Scheme. It affects how rent is paid to you and what we’re required to deduct unless HMRC approves gross payment (the NRL1 application). We’ll point you at the right GOV.UK guidance and handle our side properly. We don’t give tax advice, and anyone who does over email should worry you.
